Purpose
Maverick Auto Selection uses Google Drive solely as an off-site destination for encrypted backups of its internal business systems. The integration is operated only by authorized personnel and is not a public application.
Google Drive access
The integration uses limited Google Drive authorization to upload encrypted backups and safe verification metadata, list and verify files created by the integration, and download encrypted files for integrity or recovery checks.
It is not intended to access personal documents, email, contacts, calendars, photographs or unrelated Drive files.
Encryption and access
Backups are encrypted on an authorized Maverick Auto Selection computer before upload. Private recovery keys are stored separately and are not uploaded to Google Drive. Backup operations are limited to authorized Maverick Auto Selection personnel.
Use and sharing
Google Drive data is used only to operate, verify and recover encrypted internal backups. Maverick Auto Selection does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or marketing, or provide it to data brokers.
Data is handled only by authorized operations and service providers needed to run the backup system, principally Google Drive. Maverick Auto Selection’s use of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Encrypted backups are retained according to Maverick Auto Selection’s internal backup and recovery policy. Automated retention and deletion are not currently enabled. If enabled in the future, they will use an approved, verified process designed to preserve a known-good recovery copy.
Authorized administrators may remove backup files when they are no longer required, subject to operational and legal retention needs.
Cookies and tracking
This public website uses no cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or user profiling.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated if backup practices or the use of Google services changes. The current version will remain available at maverickautoselection.com/privacy.
